Master Schedule Lists and Grids, Unscheduled Period Summaries and Free Resource Lists and Grids all display period numbers. By default, the Scheduling Optimizer uses period labels 01, 02, 03, etc. If you have set the "Periods: Begin" field in the School atom/General tab to a number other than 01 (most commonly this option is used to label the first period of the day as 00), the Optimizer's default period labels will not match the period labels displayed in SASIxp. This procedure adjusts the period labels displayed in Scheduling Optimizer reports to have the same meanings as those displayed in SASIxp.
Review the School atom/General tab to determine the starting period number defined for the school day. If it is not 01, follow these steps.
Note the starting period number.
The following School atom screen sample shows a school day that starts with period 00.

Use the Global Scheduling Specification atom to enter a 2-digit number in the "Pd Code" field for each period sequence position.
If present, these "Pd Code" entries define the period labels the Scheduling Optimizer will display for each period of the day beginning with the first one. The following illustrates the definition corresponding to the period range defined in the above School atom.
