Free Resource Reports
The Free Resource Reports provide both list and grid views showing teachers and rooms not scheduled to any class during each schedule meeting time. The list options show a list for each period with one line for each teacher or room not allocated to a class in that period at least one day during one or more terms. The grid options show for each term and period the teachers or rooms not allocated to a class each day using one column for each day.
Use these reports to find a teacher and/or room available for assignment at one or more required times. You will find the more concise free teacher and room list views useful if your schedule is the same or mostly the same each day; if your schedule is more mosaic, you will prefer the grid views.
The Free Teacher List is displayed when this group of reports is started.

Free Teacher List
The Free Teacher list shows, by period, the teachers who are not allocated to a class in that period of at least one day during one or more terms.
Free Teacher Grid by Term
The Free Teacher Grid by Term displays a column for each day in the schedule, listing teachers who are not allocated to a class that day for each term and period.
Free Room List
The Free Room list shows, by period, the rooms that are not allocated to a class in that period for any term or day.
Free Room Grid by Term
The Free Room Grid by Term displays a column for each day in the schedule, listing rooms not allocated to a class that day for each term and period.
How to Select Other Free Resource Reports
The reports menu appears near the top of the window. When you first open the Free Resource Lists, the menu box displays "--Select Report--" and Free Teachers list is displayed as the current report.

Click on the down arrow on the right of the box. The list of available
reports is displayed.How to Read the Free Resource Reports
Use the scroll bar, arrow keys, Edit-Find command and other navigational mechanisms provided by the browser to move through the currently displayed report. A title identifying the report currently displayed appears above the report detail. The report format depends on whether a list or grid report is selected.
Free Resource Lists
Each data element has the same column heading in each free resource list report in which it appears. Reports are viewed by scrolling through the data rows; the report heading remains fixed over the data rows. The data displayed depends on the report.

Free Resource Grids
The Free Resource Grids are sorted by term, then period. For each term and period combination, the report displays a grid with one column per day. The grid entry for each column lists the teachers or rooms not allocated to a class in the given term-period-day meeting time.
Reports are viewed by scrolling through the grids for each term and period. The data displayed depends on the report. A title identifying the report currently displayed remains fixed above the scrolling report detail.
