The Scheduling Optimizer generates a set of loading reports each time it runs. The loading reports provide a quick snapshot of the current simulation results. The Analysis reports help you analyze the master schedule or the student course requests. View and navigate these reports in your browser (Internet Explorer 5.5 or later is required). Click on the links to the left for detailed pages for each report.
When your simulation run has completed, display the loading reports as follows:
In Windows, navigate to the Schedule Pro data folder containing the output
files for the target school and year (e.g. c:\sasixp\schedpro\schd9994).
Locate the file simsumry.htm and double click.
Note: Be careful not to select the similarly named file simsumry.xml - choose
the one with the Internet Explorer icon.
The browser starts and displays the Scheduling Optimizer Reports page, the
"home page" for the current simulation's onscreen loading reports. This page
contains three main sections:
Note: Once the Scheduling Optimizer has run a simulation, you can install the Scheduling Optimizer Reports Page as an external atom on the SASIxp desktop. Select "Install atom." from the File menu, then navigate to the file simsumry.htm and select it.

Note: To open a report group in a new window, right-click the link and select "Open in New Window" in the popup menu. This opens the reports in a new browser window, keeping the Scheduling Optimizer Reports page open at the same time.
| From all the other report groups there is a link to the Reports List. Click this link to return to the home page and from there go to any other report group. |
To exit, close the browser window. Either select File - Close or click the "x" in the upper right corner of the window.
