Question: Why does the Scheduling Optimizer sometimes show one or two more students being scheduled than standard SASIxp/Schedule Pro reports?

Answer: Students with an invalid grade are excluded by Schedule Pro but are scheduled by the Scheduling Optimizer. In addition, note that Schedule Pro’s Student Attribute Statistics report (ID 65) shows both a number of students (all active students) and a number of scheduled students (active students with course requests). The Scheduling Optimizer reports only the number of students scheduled (active students with course requests).
